Just pulled this sizzling Bacon Cheeseburger Meatloaf out of the oven! Who can resist bacon and cheddar? The savory flavor of burgers on the grill but made inside when the weather or time may not permit. Serve it with some savory sides or stick a slice between some bread or a bun (I promise you’ll love it either way).

  • 1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
  • 8 slices of bacon, cooked and crumbled
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup mustard
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • For the topping:
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1 tablespoon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Lightly grease a loaf pan.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, crumbled bacon, cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, ketchup, mustard, Worcestershire sauce, onion, garlic, eggs, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  3. Transfer the mixture to the prepared loaf pan, shaping it to fit.
  4. Mix together the ketchup, mustard, and brown sugar for the topping. Spread this mixture over the top of the meatloaf.
  5. Bake in the oven for 1 hour, or until the meatloaf is cooked through and the topping is caramelized.
  6. Let the meatloaf rest for 10 minutes before slicing. Serve warm.
