Dig into our hearty and cheesy Stuffed Italian Bread Boat tonight! Perfect for a family dinner! 

Ingredients:

16-ounce Italian bread loaf

Butter & garlic powder for bread

1 pound ground beef

1 pound ground sausage

16-ounce tomato sauce

6-ounce tomato paste

1 medium onion, diced

7-ounce uncooked spaghetti

½ cup Parmesan cheese, divided in half

⅔ cup Mozzarella cheese, divided in half

1 tablespoon generous Italian seasoning

1 teaspoon salt + a pinch

½ teaspoon minced garlic

½ teaspoon ground black pepper

Directions:

Preheat oven to 375°F.

Boil spaghetti until al dente, drain.

Brown beef & sausage with onion. Drain excess fat, return to skillet. Add tomato sauce, paste, seasonings, garlic, salt & pepper. Simmer 5-8 minutes.

Mix in cooked pasta. Remove from heat.

Halve bread loaf, hollow out each half. Brush with butter, sprinkle with garlic powder, toast.

Fill bread with meat sauce, top with cheeses.

Bake 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and golden.
