Dive into the bliss of our Cinnamon Cream Cheese Rolls, fresh out of the oven! Perfectly soft and packed with flavor!
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon butter, melted (for greasing)
12 pack Hawaiian sweet rolls, King’s brand preferred
⅓ cup butter, melted
2 tablespoons brown sugar
½ tablespoon ground cinnamon
⅛ teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional)
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 large egg, beaten
3 tablespoons granulated sugar
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish with 1 tablespoon of melted butter.
Arrange the rolls in the dish. Cut an X into each roll about two-thirds deep.
In a bowl, combine ⅓ cup melted butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Mix well and drizzle evenly over the rolls.
In another bowl, whip the cream cheese until smooth. Mix in granulated sugar, then the beaten egg until well incorporated.
Use a piping bag or a snipped corner of a zip-top bag to fill each roll with the cream cheese mixture.
Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the rolls are golden and the fillings are set.
Allow to cool slightly before serving.
