This versatile veggie works as an appetizer or as a side dish. Sure to be a crowd pleaser. Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus

Ingredients:

1 lb. prosciutto
2 lbs. asparagus
2 tbsp garlic butter, Fresh
1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
salt and pepper  

Directions:

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Trim the woody ends from the asparagus spears.

Cut the prosciutto slices in half lengthwise.

Spread a thin layer of garlic butter onto each prosciutto slice.

Place an asparagus spear at one end of a prosciutto slice and roll it up tightly.

Repeat with the remaining asparagus and prosciutto.

Arrange the wrapped asparagus spears on the prepared baking sheet.

Sprinkle the red pepper flakes over the asparagus and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender and the prosciutto is crispy.

Serve hot and enjoy your Prosciutto Wrapped Asparagus!
