Whipping up a batch of these Slow Cooker Sausage and Peppers tonight! Perfect for a cozy, no-fuss family dinner.

Ingredients:

Olive Oil – For sautéing the sausages
Sausages – Mildly spicy pork Italian sausage links
Bell Peppers – One each of orange, yellow, and red, cut into strips
Onion – White onion, sliced into half moons
Garlic – Minced fresh garlic cloves
Italian Seasoning – A mix of dried oregano, basil, marjoram, thyme, rosemary, and sage
Sea Salt & Black Pepper
Marinara Sauce – Homemade or store-bought

Directions:

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and brown sausages on each side.
In a slow cooker, combine bell peppers, onions, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat.
Pour marinara sauce evenly over the vegetables.
Place browned sausages into the slow cooker on top of the vegetables.
Cook on Low for 4-5 hours or on High for 2-3 hours, until sausages are cooked through.

  • 3 Bell Peppers – One each of orange yellow, and red, cut into strips
  • 1 large White onion sliced into half moons
  • 4 Garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tbsp. Italian Seasoning – A mix of dried oregano basil, marjoram, thyme, rosemary, and sage
  • 1 tsp. Sea Salt more or less to taste
  • 1 tsp. Black Pepper
  • 16 oz Marinara Sauce – Homemade or store-bought

Instructions
