Gourmet BLT Hot Dogs
Gourmet BLT inspired hot dogs made with all beef dogs wrapped in thick cut bacon and brushed in our homemade sweet onion BBQ sauce. Dressed with chopped lettuce, tomatoes and a generous drizzle of creamy ranch sauce to make a summertime favorite into a game-changing meal.
Ingredients
- beef hot dogs
- thick cut bacon
- hot dog buns
Toppings:
- lettuce head finely chopped
- tomato finely diced
- BBQ sauce
- ranch sauce
Instructions
- Preheat grill to 350 degrees F
- wrap each hot dog in bacon and secure both ends with a toothpick. Brush each hot dog with some bbq sauce and cook for about 20 minutes or until the bacon is fully cooked through.
- To serve: Warm the hot dog buns slightly on the grill or in the microwave for a few seconds to make it easier to handle and not tear. Fill the bottom of the bun with the chopped lettuce, insert the bacon wrapped hot dog in the center and brush with more bbq sauce. Finish by dressing with diced tomatoes and drizzling with ranch sauce.
