  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated provolone cheese
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil. **Or you can use the cast-iron skillet for a more rustic presentation.
  • Season and Cook Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the chicken breasts until they are golden brown on both sides but not cooked through, about 3-4 minutes per side. Transfer the chicken to the prepared baking dish. Or use the cast-iron skillet for a more rustic presentation.
  • Prepare Topping: In a medium bowl, combine the Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, melted butter, and minced garlic. Mix until well combined.
  • Assemble Dish: Top each chicken breast with the shredded mozzarella and provolone cheese. Sprinkle the Parmesan breadcrumb mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
  • Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the topping is golden brown.
  • Garnish and Serve: Remove from the oven and let rest for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
