Olive and Cheese French Bread Melts

Dive into the creamy and cheesy delight of our Olive and Cheese French Bread Melts! Perfect for any gathering or a quick snack. 

Ingredients:

6 oz. full fat sour cream

4 tablespoons softened butter

7 oz. green olives, drained and sliced

6 oz. black olives, drained and sliced

8 oz. shredded Monterey Jack cheese

¼ cup thinly sliced green onions

¼ teaspoon garlic powder

8-10 oz. loaf French bread

Kosher salt, to taste

Fresh cracked pepper, to taste

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F.

In a medium bowl, mix sour cream, softened butter, garlic powder, a large pinch of salt, and freshly cracked pepper until mostly smooth.

Add shredded Monterey Jack cheese and sliced green onions to the bowl and stir until well combined.

Fold the sliced green and black olives into the cheese mixture.

Cut the French bread loaf in half widthwise and then in half lengthwise.

Spread the olive and cheese mixture evenly on the cut sides of each bread piece.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the edges of the bread are golden brown.

Broil for 1-2 minutes, or until the cheese is dark golden brown.

Slice, garnish with fresh parsley if desired, and serve hot.
