Bacon-Wrapped Maple Glazed Scallops
These Bacon-Wrapped Maple Glazed Scallops are not just mouthwatering—they’re incredibly easy to make! With the air fryer, you get all the crispy, tender goodness without the fuss. No need to spend time tending to a hot stove or dealing with greasy pans. The air fryer makes the process nearly foolproof, ensuring perfectly cooked scallops every time.
Ingredients
- 24 large scallops patted dry
- 8 slices bacon cut into thirds
- ¾ cup maple syrup
- 4 tablespoons soy sauce
- ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley
- ¾ teaspoon salt coarse ground or freshly ground
- ¾ teaspoon black pepper freshly ground
Instructions
- Wrap each scallop in one third slice of bacon. Secure with a toothpick.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F/204°C. Once heated, arrange the bacon-wrapped scallops in the basket or on the tray so they are not touching.
- In a small bowl, combine the maple syrup, soy sauce, garlic powder, parsley, salt, and black pepper. Brush scallops with half of the sauce.
- Cook for 12 minutes. Halfway through, brush with the remaining sauce. Check scallops after 12 minutes. If you want the bacon crispier, cook for 2 more minutes or until crisped to your liking.
- Remove scallops from the air fryer and transfer to a serving dish. Brush with additional glaze from the bottom of the air fryer basket if desired.
