Ingredients
- 2 cups frozen mango chunks
- 2 cups frozen strawberries
- 1 cup fresh orange juice divided
- 1 tablespoon honey or agave syrup optional
- Ice cubes if needed
- Mint leaves for garnish optional
Instructions
Prepare the Mango Layer
- In a blender, combine the frozen mango chunks and half of the orange juice.
- Blend until smooth, adding a few ice cubes if the mixture is too thick.
- Taste and add honey or agave syrup if additional sweetness is desired.
- Pour the mango mixture into a pitcher and set aside.
Prepare the Strawberry Layer
- Rinse out the blender and add the frozen strawberries along with the remaining orange juice.
- Blend until smooth, again adding ice cubes if needed to reach your desired consistency.
- Taste and adjust sweetness with honey or agave syrup if necessary.
Create the Swirl Effect
- Fill a glass halfway with the mango mixture.
- Slowly pour the strawberry mixture on top, using a spoon to gently swirl the two layers together for a marbled effect.
- Repeat with the remaining glasses.
Garnish and Serve
- Garnish each slushie with a fresh mint leaf for an extra touch of elegance.
- Serve immediately and enjoy the refreshing, tropical flavors.
