Blue Mojito
A vibrant blue version of the classic mojito cocktail. The color comes from blue curaçao, which also adds a bit of orange flavor.

- 5 Mint leaves plus sprig for garnish
- 1/2 oz Simple syrup
- 1/2 oz Lime juice
- 1 1/2 oz Rum
- 1/2 oz Blue Curaçao
- Ice
- Club Soda
- Lime wheel optional garnish
Get Recipe Ingredients
Add mint leaves and simple syrup to a highball glass. Muddle them together (no more than six gentle turns and presses with the muddler).
Add the lime juice, rum, and blue curaçao. Stir.
Add ice, then top off with club soda. Gently stir.
Garnish and enjoy!
Tips:
Rum – Mojitos call for light rum. You can substitute coconut or pineapple flavored rum for even more tropical flavor.
Simple Syrup – You can use homemade simple syrup (1:1 water to sugar) or store-bought.
Lime Juice – Be sure to use freshly squeezed lime juice. Bottled has preservatives that negatively alters the flavor.
Blue Curaçao – This orange flavored liqueur gives the drink its blue color.
Mint – Fresh mint is essential to any mojito.
