Ingredients

  • 2 cups finely crushed graham crackers
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter melted
  • 3 large apples peeled, cored, and thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 3 8 oz packages cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 large eggs
  • Caramel sauce for drizzling

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a bowl, combine the crushed graham crackers and melted butter. Press the mixture into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
  • In a skillet, sauté the apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg until just softened. Set aside to cool.
  • In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese with granulated sugar and vanilla extract until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Pour half of the cream cheese mixture over the crust. Layer with sautéed apples, then top with the remaining cream cheese mixture.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 50 minutes, or until the center is almost set. Allow to cool completely before removing from the pan.
  • Drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.
