Ingredients
  

  • 2 tbsp. Olive Oil
  • 1 lb. Sausages – Mildly spicy pork Italian sausage links (approx. 8 links)
  • 3 Bell Peppers – One each of orange yellow, and red, cut into strips
  • 1 large White onion sliced into half moons
  • 4 Garlic cloves minced
  • 1 tbsp. Italian Seasoning – A mix of dried oregano basil, marjoram, thyme, rosemary, and sage
  • 1 tsp. Sea Salt more or less to taste
  • 1 tsp. Black Pepper
  • 16 oz Marinara Sauce – Homemade or store-bought

Instructions
 

  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and brown sausages on each side.
  • In a slow cooker, combine bell peppers, onions, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Toss to coat.
  • Pour marinara sauce evenly over the vegetables.
  • Place browned sausages into the slow cooker on top of the vegetables.

Slow Cooker on LOW: 4 to 5 hours

    Slow Cooker on HIGH: 2 to 3 hours
