Perfect for your next party or as a tasty snack! Golden Mozzarella Bites

Ingredients:

16 string cheese, cut in half crosswise
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 1/2 cups Italian style breadcrumbs
Salt and pepper, to taste
2 eggs
2 teaspoons milk
Oil for frying
2 tablespoons chopped parsley, for garnish
1 cup marinara sauce, for dipping

Directions:

Prepare three bowls: one with flour, one with beaten eggs and milk, and one with breadcrumbs mixed with salt and pepper.

Coat each cheese half by dipping first in flour, then in the egg mixture, then in breadcrumbs, back in the egg, and in breadcrumbs again.

Place the coated cheese on a parchment-lined sheet pan and freeze for at least 2 hours.

Heat oil to 350°F in a deep pot. Fry the cheese in batches until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.

Drain on paper towels, sprinkle with chopped parsley, and serve with marinara sauce.
